How last-minute windows work for customers, and how shops fill a chair that would otherwise sit empty.
A chair that would otherwise sit empty
A late cancellation or a no-show leaves time that still has rent and wages attached. Quiet Chair is how a shop can open a short, discounted window and reach people who already know them — past customers, and on paid plans a marketing email — instead of hoping someone walks in.
Customers see Flash Slots on the shop page while a window is live. The times and the percent off are the shop’s. Claiming a slot goes through checkout like any other booking.
Who can send the emails
Confirmation and cancellation emails are on Free. Reminder emails and Quiet Chair blasts are Plus or Platinum. A Free shop can still put a flash window on their page; the paid email blast is the extra.
Platinum slightly raises blast size and itinerary distance caps so busier shops can reach a little further.
Using a flash slot
Open the shop, read the banner, pick a service the window allows, and check out. If the window has filled, it will no longer be listed.
Treat last-minute colour or chemical work with the same care you would anywhere else. A discount does not replace patch-test advice from the shop.
